Mic not working?
- Check that the browser has microphone permission
- Make sure no other app (Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp) is using the mic
- Clean the mic hole with a soft, dry brush; water in the mic makes voices sound muffled
- On a laptop, choose the right input device in your sound settings
Questions people ask
Can the speaker cleaner fix my mic?
No. Mics do not move like speakers. If water got in, let the phone air-dry.
Why is my recording quiet?
The mic hole may be blocked or covered by a case. Speak closer and clean the opening.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, in Safari and Chrome. Allow mic access when asked.
