No. It is a fun check of your speakers and ears. Results depend a lot on your device and volume.

Why does the sound disappear early?

Many phone and laptop speakers stop playing clearly above 15 to 16 kHz.

Is it safe?

Yes at a comfortable volume. Never turn it up to hear the highest tones.
