Volume Booster: Make Quiet Audio & Video Louder

Play any song, voice note, podcast or video from your device up to 500% louder, with a limiter that keeps it clean.

How to use it

Three quick steps.

Choose a file

Pick an audio or video file from your phone or computer. It is not uploaded anywhere.

Set the boost

Start at 150% or 200% and raise it only if you need to.

Turn on voice clarity

For quiet speech, lectures and voice notes, switch on Voice clarity.

When to use the volume booster

Some recordings are just too quiet: a voice note recorded far from the phone, a lecture, an old video or a podcast with low levels. Even at full volume, your speaker cannot help. The booster raises the level of the file itself, then a limiter stops the loud parts from crackling.

Booster vs a blocked speaker

If everything on your phone sounds quiet or muffled, the problem is usually the speaker, not the recording. Water or dust in the grille blocks sound. Run the Water Eject or Dust Cleaner first, then compare with the Sound Meter.

Stay safe

Boosted audio through headphones can be very loud. Start low, keep sessions short, and never boost music you already play at full volume.

Questions people ask

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is played and boosted inside your browser and never leaves your device.

Can it boost YouTube or Spotify?

No. Browsers do not let one website change the sound of other apps. It works with files you choose.

Why does it sound distorted at 500%?

Some recordings are too noisy to boost that much. Lower the boost or turn on Voice clarity.

Will it damage my speaker?

The limiter keeps peaks under control. Still, avoid long sessions at maximum boost on small speakers.

What file types are supported?

Most MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, MP4 and WebM files that your browser can play.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Choose a file from Files or Photos in Safari or Chrome and press play.

Can I save the boosted file?

Not yet. The boost is applied while it plays in your browser.
